Welcome to Lyrical Hook's!
A writer's website, to present some of his work to publishers, offer Record Labels / singers / musicians a choice of songs, and offers everyone the chance to request something bespoke. Martin Hook is the name! The main focus of my work at the moment is around Songwriting. I write lyrics, and then work with a talented producer/musician (Phil Watts) to flesh out the feel and develop the melodies and chords. This sometimes involves tweaking the lyrics to maximise the impact of the track after the music is added. Finally, various vocalists - including the extremely talented Kirsty Nicole - (and where necessary accompanying musicians) are brought in to record and complete the mix. Any singers, publishers or recording companies interested in hearing a demo of some original tracks, check out my completed tracks on the Music page. Check out Lyrics which are a work in progress awaiting the addition of music/vox to complete the tracks, so I can put them into the Music page. Any singers/musicians out there who are looking to work with a lyricist, check out the Just Words page. Here you can find amongst other writings, lyrics and maybe some suitable poems which are not scheduled to be made into complete tracks any time soon! This section also includes projects that don't involve music at all! This is great if anyone is having trouble with expressing their feelings through words themselves, because they are too close to the emotions!
